As the Lead Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of the platform — technically, strategically, and culturally. You’ll work directly with the founder and CTO, take ownership of the backend and infrastructure, and help scale the product to its next stage of growth.This is a great fit for someone who thrives in remote, high-autonomy environments but doesn’t mind the occasional in-person sync in Philly to align on big-picture goals.ResponsibilitiesLead backend development using C# / .NET — designing and maintaining APIs, data models, and business logicContribute to and support the React front-end, as neededOwn Azure-based deployments and DevOps processes; improve CI/CD and environment managementCollaborate closely with the founder and other stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable tech solutionsArchitect and implement improvements across performance, scalability, and system reliabilityProactively present updates and technical decisions in a clear, organized way (weekly cadence expected)Confidently challenge ideas that aren’t technically sound, and push for smarter solutions when needed
